The Mount Players is a vibrant, volunteer-driven, community theatre company, and we rely on the energy and dedication of our members to bring our productions to life. Whether you're interested in getting involved behind the scenes, supporting us as a member, or simply enjoying the show as part of our audience, there’s always room for more passionate individuals to join the theatre family, and anyone of ANY experience level is welcomed.

We need more than just actors on stage

Take the leap from being an audience member to becoming an essential part of the production team! Every show requires a village of talented people working together, and there are so many ways you can be involved!

And don’t worry if you're new to any of these roles—we’re happy to show you the ropes and provide training. If you're eager to help but unsure where to start, we'll guide you!

To get involved, reach out to the TMP President. We'd love to meet you and welcome you to the team!

  • Help build and paint the sets.

  • Assist the costume team with sourcing or sewing costumes, or source or make props.

  • Join the orchestra or band.

  • Help in the bio box with sound and lighting.

  • Assist with props and scene changes.

  • Help with greeting audiences and serving tea and coffee at interval. or running the bar (RSA required for bar duty).

  • Become part of the team that produces the show!

    If you love the theatre, we’d be thrilled to have you in the audience. See a show, see several shows, and be part of the magic! Not every production might be your favourite, but you may discover something new that surprises and delights you.

    Individual Membership: $30/year

    Family Membership: $10 for each additional family member at the same address

    Membership Year: January 1st - December 31st
